Volunteer and Make an Impact!
Much of the ministry of On Eagle’s Wings is carried out by an amazing group of volunteers who give their time, energy and other resources to serve the people of the North. Current volunteer opportunities are listed below.
Every year we run Bible Camps for children in some of the remotest locations in Canada.
If you love kids and have a desire to let them know how much God loves them, then please spend some time reading the Bible Camp Volunteers page.
We have over 20 communities in the North that ask us to run camps each year, and these are staffed primarily by volunteers like you! Click the picture on the left for more info.
Content Writers & Editors
We produce multiple newsletters, devotionals, and blog entries each year.
We rely on volunteer writers, editors and proofreaders for these tasks.
If you’ve got a good grasp of the English language, and would like to get involved with these publications, we’d value your help!
Mailing Assistants
All the newsletters, devotionals and other printed materials need to be carefully folded, packaged, weighed, stamped and mailed out. At certain times of the year there are thousands of mailings to prepare.
Some of these tasks are performed in group mailing parties, whereas some are performed by volunteers working from home.
Hospitality
If you happen to live near one of our offices or ministry bases, you may be interested in providing hospitality to our volunteers and board members.
This can involve airport transfers, making meals, baking, or even providing temporary lodging or accommodation for other volunteers.

Content Creation
Since the emergence of COVID and in order to abide by Public Health Guidelines, we have been producing video content that gets shipped North in our Bible Camp in a Bag kits.
We need song videos and story-telling videos to be made.
These have to be filmed, edited, compressed, then placed on USB Drives or DVDs.

Pray
As an ecumenical Christian ministry, a strong foundation of prayer underpins everything we do.
Our prayer partners uphold our ministry, our staff, our board, our volunteers, and regularly pray for the Northern Communities and individuals we support.
Prayer partners stay updated through our regular newsletters and blog posts.
As a fully registered charity in Canada, we rely on the generous financial support of donors across the world to fund the ministry.
We gratefully receive one-time gifts, periodic, or regular monthly donations.
We also accept gifts in honour of, or in memory of others, and through Planned Giving.
